Weather? You are more creative than that! Think of Sydney in 2012!

With the winter weather in full throttle in Australia, it's time to get more creative in your doings. Vivid Sydney festival helps you do just that. First held in 2009, it has become Sydney's major winter festival with more than 500 000 visitors expected to see the events this year. It's a celebration of light, music, creativity, all of it in its best form. Whatever the weather ends up to be, music by performers from around the world, more than 60 light installations, public talks and debates by world's leading creative thinkers, it all will happen, and has happened, because of Vivid Sydney festival, from May 25 to June 11.

This years lighting of the iconic Sydney Opera House sails were created by the award-winning German design team URBANSCREEN. Compared to last year (yes! the festival is taking place for the fourth time), the lighting across the Sydney foreshore CBD skyline has been significantly enhanced to recognize the original inhabitants of the Sydney basin. Imagine 3D digital mapping projections projecting visual impressions of the six seasons of the Indigenous calendar across Sydney's most iconic buildings. Or better yet, don't imagine it, see it all yourself with your own eyes before June 11, 2012.
